The thirty-sixth week, marks the beginning of rapid weight gain for your baby. From now until birth your baby will gain about 1/2 pound or 227 grams per week.
Third trimester symptoms will become more accute.
The rapidly decreasing free space around your baby may make it difficult to move.
This may cause a decrease in fetal movement but an increase in strength and force.
If the baby has already turned, their head will be resting on your pubic bone.
