Fact of the Week
Pregnancy Week 9
In the ninth week, bones develop in you baby's arms which can bend at the elbows and wrists.
Toes begin to form and the eyelids and ears continue to develop.
The buds that will become your baby's genitals, become visible.
The tail at the bottom of the spinal cord has almost disappeared.
By the end of this week, your baby will be about 9/16 to 12/16 inches or 16 to 20 millimeters in length from crown to rump.
By now you have missed your second period.
Although you will probably not experience any new symptoms, you will probably not see an abatement of first trimester symtoms just yet.
